Dr. Dana Kruse
Dr. Kruse (formerly Esterle) grew up in the Big Rapids area and attended Ferris State University for her undergraduate studies where she received her Bachelors degree in Applied Biology with minors in Spanish and Psychology. Dr. Kruse graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 2007.
Dr. Kruse has worked in multiple veterinary practices over the years, allowing her to develop not only her medical and surgical skills, but also build strong relationships with clients and staff.
Special areas of interest include preventive medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery and ultrasound.
Dr. Kruse also has an interest in poultry and exotics medicine. When she is not taking care of your furry family members, she is at home with her husband Jason taking care of their two children as well as their dog Gretta, 3 cats, and 18 chickens. She enjoys gardening, cooking, running/hiking, kayaking, and spending time with the family.
Dr. Linda Kudrycki
Dr. Linda grew up in Southeast Michigan and knew at a very young age that caring for animals was her calling. She grew up riding horses, participating in 4-H, and spending summers working on dairy farms. Linda completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. She graduated in 2009 with a Biology Major and a Chemistry Minor.
Dr. Linda then went on to veterinary school at Michigan State University and graduated in 2013 with her DVM. Her first year out of school Dr. Linda worked in a mixed animal practice in Ohio. She then moved to Big Rapids and has been practicing veterinary medicine locally ever since.
When not at work Dr. Linda loves spending time with her husband, family, and her orange tiger cat Milo. She is an avid runner and a budding photographer who also enjoys gardening, shopping, mountain biking, and scrapbooking.
Dr. Linda particularly values forming lasting and meaningful client relationships. Her current small animal professional interests include dermatology and preventive medicine. In addition, she has experience with, and a passion for, dairy and small ruminants.
Linda is excited about providing quality care to your four-legged family members and looks forward to carrying on the legacy of Dr. Don Hitzemann and serving the Big Rapids community at 19 Mile Veterinary Hospital.
Brittany grew up in Rockford, Michigan and now resides in Sand Lake with her 3 fur babies, Izzybell, Jameson, and Bodhi. She attended Baker College and Sandford Brown College graduating in 2012 with her associates degree in Applied Animal Science of Veterinary Technology. Brittany spent 7 years working at an Emergency and Specialty small animal practice where she focused primarily on Emergency and Critical Care. She has been working in General Practice for the last year and a half.
Brittany enjoys learning and putting into use advanced medicine and patient care. In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her dogs and family. Brittany is excited to care for her new patients and clients at 19 Mile Veterinary Hospital.
I grew up in Big Rapids. I attended Baker College of Cadillac and graduated in 2016 with an associates degree in applied science with a concentration in veterinary technology. When not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband Neil, my 2 sons Hunter and Easton.
I have 2 black labrador retrievers named Riley and Maverick, and a golden retriever named Tater ( in the picture). I also have 2 cats named Slice and Hatrick. In my spare time I enjoy camping, going to the beach, hiking and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
Vickie is one of our receptionists at 19 Mile. She has over 20 combined years in the veterinary field in the Mount Pleasant and Big Rapids areas. Her love for animals and people makes this the perfect job for her. Vickie resides in Big Rapids with her husband, on their own little slice of Heaven. Together they share a daughter, son-in-law, granddaughters, and a black lab.
Her hobbies include spending time with her family, reading, cooking, decorating her home, vacationing, and most of all being a Nana.
Taylor is attending Ferris State University. She plans to earn her bachelors of science, majoring in Biology and Pre-Veterinary science. She has been working in veterinary care for two years and loves to care for our patients. She has a rescue kitty named Kallie and hopes to get her a sibling soon! We can’t wait to care for your pets together!
In my free time, I enjoy fishing and kayaking with my husband Aron and son Evan. My hobbies include horseback riding and helping Evan with his 4-H projects. We share our home with 3 dogs, 5 cats, 2 horses and several chickens.
